2020 Germany-Korea Hydrogen Technology Conference

We are experiencing worsening threats from climate change day by day and globally. To reduce GHG emission, one of the main causes of climate change, countries promote and pursue energy system transition from fossil fuel to eco-friendly basis, and ‘Hydrogen Economy’ is gaining rapid attention as a key solution to complete the energy system transition as well as a next generation industrial and economic growth engine.

Germany and Korea, being high-tech nations but with difficulty of producing large scale of hydrogen, are again focusing on technology innovation to realize the hydrogen economy and investing resources on research and development. ‘Germany-Korea Hydrogen Technology Conference’ will serve as the first step looking for ways to go far and together between Germany and Korea by joining force on research and development. This will be a meaningful event where technology development efforts from both countries are shown and joint cooperation potentials are sought.
